Here is some general information about the status of the application as of 7/6/2004:
- postink! only works with the .Text blogging engine.
- In order to "post ink", ftp access is required.
- Custom Tags and QuickInk's do not yet work.
- Some toolbar button functionality has not yet been implemented (like inserting links and images).
- Spell checking has not yet been implemented.
- Saving and opening of posts has not yet been implemented.
Some of the features/todo's I have planned:
- Ability to hyperlink an inked word. (via image mapping)
- Option to post converted ink in a hidden div tag for searching.
- Support for other blogging engines!
- Encryption of passwords in the config files.
- Customizable stylesheet to REALLY preview.
